Marijuana Found at Osama Bin Laden’s Abbottabad Compound

Here's an item of note about the recent events in Pakistan: Over the past 24 hours it has beenwidely reported that ganja was growing along the outside walls of Osama bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad. We'll let CNN, who first broke this little nugget of knowledge, explain the specifics:

My immediate reaction: It's a plant that's indigenous to that region of the world. So... who cares? Whether he was smoking pot or not doesn't mean he's any less of an evil, murderous son of a bitch. Nor does it mean that weed should be further stigmatized because of its proximity to an awful human being. That's just a ridiculous non sequitur.
